Muttaburra is approximately 1400km from Brisbane via the Landsborough Highway. There is plenty to see and do along the way.
FLY
Qantas flies direct from Brisbane daily to Longreach. Longreach is 120km from Muttaburra.
Bus / tour
Buses run from Longreach to Muttaburra on Show day.

Muttaburrasaurus Langdoni Replica
Be amazed by the life size replica of the Muttaburrasaurus found locally by a grazier while mustering in 1963. It is housed in a spectacular interpretation centre made from stone.
Dr. Arratta Museum
A fascinating display of what a real working hospital would have been like in history. It boasts amazing medical artefacts and historical memorabillia. Guided tours are available.

Muttaburra is the geographical centre of Qld and an recently opened interesting monument is displayed featuring an insightful display of the towns history and rainfall records.
